It is important to avoid brushing 4 hours prior to your appointment. You do not want any scratches or abrasions on your gums. After care - Only water for first 2 hours  Drinking water will decrease possible sensitivity. Avoid any dark colored food or drink for next 24 hours. NO-coffee, tea, red wine, tomato sauce or anything with a heavy color (yes to chicken, rice, noodles etc.) Next 48 hours-Brush with a white toothpaste and avoid brushing gums.  Also avoid dark or whitening based toothpastes.

We get alot of questions regarding youth wanting to whiten after braces. Our product is safe for ALL ages (with signed permission for those under 18) Whitening is best for youth who have all their adult teeth. I recommend youth using our True Mineral desensitizing treatment
